Small town 3 train stops north of Nice. Hiked up the Nietzsche path, which has gorgeous views of the mediterranean. Recommenced comfortable shoes and hiking gear as the elevation changes is about 1200 over 1.25 miles. Did it in jeans and sneakers, but would have preferred running shoes or boots. Walked around the medieval castle town, which reminds me of the castle towns in Tuscany. Had drinks at Château Eza which has an amazing view that well makes up for the price of the drinks. Highly recommended grabbing drinks here if in Èze.
