Kill Criteria

When formulating a plan, a kill criteria is the circumstances underwhich you will quit or exit that plan. In investing this is known as a stop loss. The criteria should have a state (i.e. a measurable condition or benchmark) and a date. A simple version of this is “If I have not done __ by _ then I quit.” 1.
