Climate Change Mitigation

Anthropogenic sources of atmospheric CO₂ and CO₂ equivalents are the driver of Climate Change. Therefore mitigating climate change in a Systems Analysis is about reducing the Stocks and Flows atmospheric CO₂ via the flows of input (reduction of CO₂ emissions) and output (Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR)).

Biogenic carbon is the idea that you don’t “count” carbon from burning organic matter since it will be taken up by growth.
